Susitna Sunsets features beautifully decorated guest rooms and common areas with spectacular views from every room. All of the guest rooms offer views of the peaks of the Chugach Mountains including Flattop - the most frequently climbed mountain in all of Alaska. On clear days guests may be treated to views of the Alaska Range from the living and dining rooms with Mts. McKinley, Hunter, and Foraker dominating the northern horizon.

Mornings begin with a deluxe continental breakfast served either in the dining room or on one of the decks. Guests who are heading out early for a busy day of sightseeing can enjoy breakfast "to go."

After a long day of taking in the sights of southcentral Alaska, guests can enjoy an evening snack while relaxing on one of the decks, in the sunroom, or in the guest living room. Guests are welcome to enjoy our collection of Alaska videos and DVD's on the 36 in., flat screen TV in the guest living room.

Summer guests with the stamina to stay awake late enough may be treated to a "Susitna Sunset" and witness the magic as the sky is painted with shades of red, orange, and purple while the sun slowly sides below the horizon. On clear, cold, dark winter nights guests may catch a glimpse of the northern lights and watch as streaks of neon colors swirl and dance across the sky.
